Obituary

Funeral services for Howard Neal, 90, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ with Colquitt Nash, minister, and Jay Simpson, hospice chaplain, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Neal died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Plainview Healthcare Center. He was born July 19, 1915, in Milam. He married Edna Grelle on Oct. 4, 1942, in Wichita Falls. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-45 and moved to Plainview in 1959. He worked for Seipp Machine Shop and retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Ann Taylor of Dallas; one son, Glynn Neal of Plainview; one brother, Dallas Neal of Rotan; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
