Navares, Gilbert, Jr.

Funeral services for Gilbert Navares Jr., 44 will be at 2 p.m. today in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Navares died at 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001 in Plainview.

He was born June 10, 1956, in Plainview.

Survivors include his mother Ramona O. Sherbondy of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Nartin Navares of Fort Wayne and Raul Navares of Kentucky; and one sister, San Juana Navares of Kentucky.

His father, Gilbert Navares Sr., is deceased.
