Nava, Robert,Jr.
PETERSBURG ? Funeral services for Robert Nava Jr., 31, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Tello Jr., and the Rev. Cleta Eldridge officiating.
Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. today in the Fellowship of Faith.
Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery by White Funeral Home of Idalou.
Mr. Nava died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in Petersburg.
He was born June 25, 1969, in Lockney, the son of Robert and Helen Pena Nava. He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1988 and attended South Plains for one year. He went to San Marcos and joined the Job Corps. After leaving San Marcos, he returned to Lubbock where he lived for eight years and oved to Petersburg in 1998.
He drove to module truck for the gin at Petersburg.
He was a member of Fellowship of Faith where he was involved in the Praise Team.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Rogelio Nava of Petersburg; four sisters, Adrianna Torres of Abernathy, Claudia Mata of Lubbock, Belen Rocha and Patricia Nava, both of Houston; and his grandparents, Maria Nava of Petersburg and Raymond and Jessica Rodriguez of Robstown.
The body will be at Fellowship of Faith Church until 9 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to Children?s Miracle Foundation.
