Obituary

Funeral Mass for Eloisa G. Nagar, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Nagar died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Plainview Healthcare Center. She was born May 24, 1923, to Jose and Antonio Gomez in Mertzon, Texas. She married Manuel O. Nagar Sr. in 1944 in Mertzon. She was a homemaker and lived in Plainview since 1949. Survivors include three sons, Manuel Nagar Jr. of Plainview, Mario Nagar of Austin and Willie Nagar of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Celestina Nagar of Plainview; two sisters, Amelia Rodriquez and Delfina Hernandez, both of Plainview; 16 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and her parents.
