Funeral services for Albert Munroe, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Colonial Chapel at Wood-Dunning Funeral Home with Colquitt Nash, minister at the Ninth and Columbia Street Church of Christ, officiating.
Mr. Munroe died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at Prairie House Living Center.
He was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Fort Worth, the son of the late Cindy and Will Munroe.
He moved to Plainview in 1952 and farmed and operated a dairy.
He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ.
On August 30, 1936, he married Mary Helen Smith in Sweetwater.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Cyndia Maxwell of Pleasanton, Mary Alice Reed of Chano, Cali., Nancy Carter of Plainview and Janie Thomas of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren, and 23great- grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Lubbock Children?s Home.
