LOCKNEY - Graveside services for Boyce Albert "Pete" Mosley, 81, of Lockney will be at 2 p.m. today in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Moore-Rose Funeral Home.

Mr. Mosley died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010. He was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Lockney to Elmer Clay and Vera Edwin Cox Mosley.

He graduated from Lockney High School. He married Bonnie Inez Dunavant in Lockney in May 1949. She died Oct. 5, 2006. He was a longtime farmer and had served as president of the Floyd County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, the Old Settler's Committee, the Floyd County Fair and Lockney Band Boosters. He was Lockney's Man of the Year and served for many years as an elder at West College and Third Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol Elaine Mosley of Plainview and Susan Futch of Denton; one son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Lisa Mosley of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.

His parents, two sisters and one brother are deceased.
