Obituary

Lois Baldwin Morrison, 94, of Lubbock died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1, 2010, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Sid West of Bosque Farms, N.M., officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Lois was born Sept. 15, 1915, in Gainesville, Texas, to Ruby Garner Robinson and William Ellis Robinson Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. She was a Sunday school teacher and president of PTA. She was a woman of great character and integrity and was loved by her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Floss "Fluff" Baldwin; her second husband, Cletus Morrison; a son, Gaylon Dale Baldwin; a brother, William Ellis Robinson III; two grandsons; a great-grandson; and a great-granddaughter. Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Anna Baldwin of Albuquerque, N.M., Sara Petty of Lubbock, Texas, Floyce Henderson and husband Johnnie of DeKalb, Texas, and Darla Rhodes and husband Joe of Clovis, N.M.; a son, Larry Baldwin and wife Reva Lynn of Whiteface, Texas; two sisters, Christine "Teeny" Bennett of Plainview, Texas, and Cleo Bennett and husband Melvin of Plainview; one brother, Ralph Robinson and wife Ima of Tahoka, Texas; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
