Obituary

Funeral services for Maria Patricia Moreno, 38, formerly of Plainview were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Spanish Nazarene Church in Plainview with the Rev. Guadalupe H. Moreno, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. A prayer service was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Mrs. Moreno died Thursday, May 11, 2006, in Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo. She was born Oct. 25, 1967, in Lockney to Leopoldo and Santos Molina. She grew up in Mercedes and lived in Plainview for several years before moving to Lubbock, then to San Angelo. She married Ricardo Moreno on Feb. 9, 1998, in Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spanish Nazarene Church. She is survived by her husband, Ricardo Moreno of the home; one son, Jeremy Molina of San Angelo; four daughters, Molly Mendoza, Lorie Salazar and Venessa Maines, all of San Angelo, and Shellsea Farrias of McAllen; her mother. Santos Barton of Weslaco; two brothers, Daniel Molina of Weslaco and Leo Molina of Austin; four sisters, Maria Elsa Molina of Athens and Rosa Molina, Marta Molina and Sandy Soto, all of Weslaco; three grandchildren, Nathaniel Marines and Sarah Vargas of Plainview and Arginette Molina of Navasota; her father and mother-in-law, Guadalupe H. and Lucia B. Moreno of Plainview; and several nieces and nephews. Her father is deceased.
