Obituary

Funeral services for Saturnino Morales, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in True Vine Church with Alberto Carrion officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Morales died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at his residence. He was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Gonzalez to Roberto and LeAndra Morales. He married Amelia Alcozar on Dec. 22, 2002, in Monroe, La. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jose Luis Morales of San Antonio and Felix Perez of Fort Worth; three daughters, Sovieda Morales of Robstown, Mary Morales of Monroe, La., and Sovieda Cervantes of Fort Worth; two brothers, Roberto Morales of Robstown and Juan Morales of Wolfforth; one sister, Kathy Gatica of Lubbock; three stepdaughters, Rosa Marin, Kimberly Simmons and Sandra Amador; one stepson, Santos Chavez; 30 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
