Obituary

Funeral services for Mary Helen Moore, 87, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Seagoville. She owned and operated a grocery business in Oklahoma and moved to Plainview in 1990 from Eldorado, Okla. Survivors include one daughter, Karolyn Roberson of Rhome; one son, Kenneth Rasco of Robert Lee; one brother, Joe Moore of Tomball; one sister, Ruth Moore of Iredell; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Two brothers, Raymond Moore and Bill Moore, are deceased. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
