Funeral services for Jean Craft Mitchell, 76, were at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Q.D. Bevill, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Mitchell died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at her residence. She was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Qulin, Mo. She married Clyde D. Mitchell. Survivors include her husband; four sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Rita Craft of Plainview, C.F. and Debbie Cox and Dennis and Paulette Cox, all of of San Bernardino, Calif., and Randy and Delores Mitchell of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren, Bobby and Donna Craft of Plainview, Theresia and Richard Waller of Petersburg, Randy Lynn and Annette Mitchell of Wyley, Ben Mickey Mitchell, Christina Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell, all of Plainview, and Denny Cox, Lance Cox, Ronny Gene Cox, Denise Cox, Amber Cox and Courtney Cox, all of San Bernardino, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren, Krista Carter, Kayla Waller, Lindsey Craft, Nicholas Waller, Tristin Waller, Amy Mitchell and Dorian Menchaca; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Daryl Mitchell of Plainview.
