Obituary

HEREFORD ? Clotee Powell Minchew, 95, of Hereford died Sunday, March 18, 2012.

Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Central Church of Christ with John Henley, minister, and Mr. Dean Wiseman
officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Plainview Memorial Park Cemetery in Plainview. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home of Hereford.

Mrs. Minchew was born Dec. 6, 1916, in Whitt, Parker County, to Oliver and Jesse Pate Powell. She married Eldon Baird Minchew on April 4, 1937, in Idalou.

Survivors include a
daughter, Glenda Gay Epps of Lake Dallas; two sons, Charles Ervin Minchew and Don Minchew, both of
Hereford; a sister, Afton Irene Thomas of Dumas; six
grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the King's Manor Methodist Home, 400 Ranger Dr., Hereford, TX 79045; or Samaritan Hospice, 426 Main St., Hereford, TX 79045.
