Xandra Miller, 73, of Plainview passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Covenant Hospital of Lubbock. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at First Christian Church with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Miller was born July 5, 1933, in Plainview to Ray D. and Kathleen Looper Blair. She married Ralph Miller on June 18, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. Xandra graduated from Plainview High School in 1950. She worked at Maxine's for several years and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of First Christian Church where she served as a deaconess, board member and worked with the youth. Survivors include her husband, Ralph Miller of Plainview; a daughter, Diane Williams and husband Mike of Plainview; a son, Dicky Miller and wife Pam of Plainview; a sister, Kay Bates and husband Mike of El Paso; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
