Obituary

Raul Mendoza Jr., 46, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Mendoza was born on Aug. 29, 1968, in Plainview to Raul and Gloria Mendoza. He married Annie Vasquez on Oct. 14, 2013, in San Antonio. He worked for Mesquite SWD, Inc. in Carlsbad, N.M., and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Mendoza is survived by his wife, Annie Mendoza of Lubbock; one daughter, Gina Nicole Mendoza of Lubbock; three sons, Bo Mendoza and wife Anna of Plainview, Raul Mendoza III of Lubbock and Randy Mendoza of Plainview; his mother, Gloria Ferrer of Plainview; five stepchildren, D-Ray Macias, Nicole Owens, Kristal Macias, Louis Trujillo and Neptaly Trujillo; two stepbrothers, Ruben Ferrer and Ramiro Ferrer; two stepsisters; and nine grandchildren.
