Mendez, Marcos Anthony Carrera

Graveside services for Marcos Anthony Mendez, 11-day-old son of Vanessa Carrera and Benny Mendez. Both of Plainview, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Babyland Plainview Memorial Park with the Rev. Don Robertson, pastor of College Heights Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.

The child died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born Jan. 20, 2001, in Lubbock.

Survivors include his parents; his grandmother, Elsa Carrera of Plainview; and an uncle, Edward Carrera of Plainview.
