Obituary

Funeral services for Elijah Zane Menchaca, 1-month-old son of Ricky and Vanessa Menchaca, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Trinity Fellowship Church with the Rev. Steve Rogers, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park Babyland by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. The infant died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, in Covenant Medical Center. He was born April 27, 2002, in Lubbock. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Ramon Ray Ramos of Plainview; his grandparents, Leonel and Sylvia Esquivel and Raul and Linda Menchaca Sr., all of Plainview; and his great-grandparents, Pedro and Florinda Barretero of Plainview, Santos and Olivia Basaldua of Tulia; and Leonel and Aurora Esquivel of Fieldton.
