HALE CENTER - Funeral services for Bobbie Francis Caddell Meester, 73, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Freeman-Abell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Graham of Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mrs. Meester died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, at her residence. She was born Feb. 14, 1928, in Weinert. She grew up in Plainview where she graduated from high school. She lived in Lubbock from 1961 to 1974 when she moved to San Antonio. She moved to central Texas in 1976 and to Hale Center in 1999. She was retired from General Electric in 1976, working for them in Lubbock and San Antonio. She was a member of First Baptist Church. On Feb. 24, 1948, she married Foye L. Meester in Littlefield. Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Charlotte Meester of Fair Oaks Ranch, Stephen Herman and Donna Lee Meester of Burleson; a daughter and son-in-law, Rajean and John Gully of Vienna, Va.; two sisters, Patricia Dean Bishop of Monterey Park, Calif., and Etta Mae Ferrell of Abilene; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross, 114 E. Seventh, Plainview, TX 79072 or to the Hale Center Cemetery Association, Box 850, Hale Center, TX 79041.
