Obituary

Funeral services for Wanda Geneva Edwards Meek, 79, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Weldon and the Rev. Manuel Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Meek died at 10:25 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2004, in Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born April 12, 1925. She married Harley Meek in 1941 in Lubbock. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Regina Lee Meek Edmiston of Farmington, N.M.; one brother, Kenneth Edwards of Lockney; one sister, Dorothy Marley of Plainview; and five grandchildren. A son, Marvin Dwayne Meek; two brothers, Hoyt Edwards and Charles Edwards, and two sisters, Hazel Edwards Griffen and Cuida Edwards Walker, are deceased.
