McWilliams, G.A. (Buster)

Funeral services for G.A. ?Buster? McWilliams, 90, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. McWilliams died at 10:36 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, 2000, in Covenant Hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1910, in McGregor. He graduated from Speegleville High School and moved to the Ellen Community near Plainview in 1929. He farmed until retiring in 1970.

He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Adult II Sunday School class.

He married Virginia Carden in 1938. She died in 1977. He married Reda Faye Wright Hana on Feb. 4, 1979, in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Francis Ann Harris of Garland; one sister, Juanita Aylesworth of Plainview; and four grandchildren.

A brother, W.G. McWilliams, is deceased.

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
