McLaurin, Harry Charles,Jr. (Charlie)
Graveside services for Harry Charles "Charlie" McLaurin Jr., 49, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Plainview Memorial Park with Jimmy Fikes, a Baptist minister, officiating.
Burial arrangements aree by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mr. McLaurin died at 10:36 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Lubbock.
He was born May 23, 1954, in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School, attended Texas Tech University and graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2003.
He worked in sales for several local businesses and in 1990 bought Fisher Auto Supply which he operated for 10 years. in 2000, he began work for the physical plant at Texas Tech University.
In 1977, he married Sammi Louene Drew.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Bess Havens of Lubbock; a sister, Connie Davis of Plainview; and two grandsons, Colt and Kyle Havens of Lubbock.
His parents, Maisie and Harry Charles McLaurin Sr., are deceased.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
