McIlroy, M.B., Mrs. (Eloise DeBusk)

Funeral services for Eloise DeBusk McIlroy, 77 will be at 2p.m. Friday in Lemons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A.C. Hamilton, retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. McIlroy died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Terrell Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 16, 1922, in Fluvanna. She grew up in Snyder and moved to the Happy Union Community in 1940. She moved to Plainview in 1942 and delivered telegrams for Western Union. She worked at West Drug and Eddie?s Drive Inn and several cafes as a waitress.

She attended Date Street Baptist Church.

On June 9, 1940, she married Barney K. DeBusk. He died Oct. 11, 1994. He is deceased.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Joe DeBusk of Odessa, Bobby DeBusk of Garland; and Ron DeBusk of Garland; one brother Buster Sneed of Wills Point; Two sisters, Pat Posey of Mt. Juliet, Tenn. And Tillie Mae Hitt of Springfield, Tenn.; an anut, Mae Brush of Snyder; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer?s Association.
