Obituary

Ronnie A. McBeth, 70, of Lubbock, passed away on Jan. 4, 2014, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Kornerstone Funeral Chapel with Dr. Carrol Green officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Ronnie was born Aug. 6, 1943, to Ferman and Bertha McBeth in Knox City, Texas. He graduated from Hale Center High School in 1961 and attended Texas Tech University. He married Trudy Davis on Oct. 27, 1962. He farmed in the Hale County area for many years. He is survived by his wife, Trudy McBeth of Lubbock; his son, Mitch McBeth and wife Jill of El Paso, Texas; his brother, Ferman McBeth, Jr. and wife Lucia of Kress, Texas; one sister, LuAnn Lemond and husband Dick of Hale Center, Texas; and two granddaughters, Macy and Kendall McBeth.
