Obituary

Memorial services for Leta McAnally, 74, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Plainview Family Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Doug Yates, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. McAnally died at 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at her residence. She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Ardmore, Okla. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School in 1948. She had worked at Furr's Supermarket for several years and for Dr. D.O. Hollingsworth as a dental assistant, retiring in 1993. On Jan. 22, 1949, she married Jack McAnally in Kress. Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Billy Massey of Brownwood; a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Suzie McAnally of Lubbock; three sisters, Trulene Reed, Tommie Shannon and Jackie Harrell, all of Plainview; one brother, Glen Noland of Keller; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
