Obituary

Memorial services for Eugenia Ann "Jeanie" Mayo, 83, of Abernathy will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at First United Methodist Church in Plainview with the Rev. Ted Wilson of Borger officiating. Mrs. Mayo died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, in Lubbock. She was born June 12, 1925, in Plainview to Robert and Ollie Wilson. She graduated from Petersburg High School. She married Joe B. May on March 23, 1946. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Joe Bob and Jo Carole Mayo of Petersburg; one daughter and son-in-law, June and Dan Lecrone of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Elton Wilson of Plainview and James Wilson of Tres Ritos, N.M.; two sisters, Helen Rogers of Texline and Daisy Law of Plainview; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A brother, Luke Wilson, and two sisters, Louise Widner and Ella Faye Robertson, are deceased.
