Obituary

Pedro Martinez, 38, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, in Lemons Memorial Chapel under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Martinez was born on April 2, 1976, to Thomas P. and Luz (Tagle) Martinez in Lockney. Pedro married the love of his life Danica on April 1, 2011, in Lubbock. He was employed as a driver for Fed Ex. Pedro was a huge sports fan, especially the New England Patriots. He was also known for his hard work ethic and music; most of all he was known for his love for his family, and greatly enjoyed cooking out with his family. He is preceded in death by his father Thomas, brother Thomas Jr., and sister Rebecca. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Luz; wife Danica; daughters Jayden, Kiara and Jasmin.
