Obituary

Funeral services for Nannie Marshall, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Happy Union Baptist Church with the Rev. James Johnson of Paris, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Marshall died Sunday May 6, 2007, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born April 10, 1925, in Chickasha, Okla., to Abraham and Florida Lipscomb. She married O.C. Marshall on July 19, 1941, in Greenville. She worked for Jimmy Dean and was active in house sitting. She was a member of Happy Union Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Brenda Marshall of Lubbock; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Emma and Fred Herring, and Minnie Lee Marshall, all of Plainview, and Wanda and Jimmy Jackson of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
