Obituary

Funeral services for Ola Marriott, 88, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven Winner officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Marriott died Sunday, March 12, 2006, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born Feb. 12, 1918, in Marietta, Okla., to Jim Brady and Leona Willis Brady. Her husband, Jessie Marriott, died Dec. 19, 1986. She was a waitress and homemaker and longtime member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Survivors include two stepsons, Dan Marriott and Robert Marriott, both of Plainview; one sister, Mildred McGraw of Kerrville; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and 17 nieces and nephews. A grandson, Lance Marriott, is deceased.
