Funeral services for Daniel W. Marriott, 77, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Malcom, pastor of Western Heritage Fellowship in Hale Center, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Marriott died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, in Amarillo. He was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Grandfield, Okla., to Jess and Edith Marriott. He served in the Army during the Korean War and received four medals. Survivors include one son, Danny Marriott of Plainview; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sydney and Billy Nava of Plainview, and Trina Marriott and Pam and Steve Padilla, all of Visilia, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
