Obituary

Services for Dorothy Mann, 85, of Hale Center, TX were held at 3:00 pm in the Hale Center First Baptist Church with Rev. Gene Meacham officiating.

Burial followed in the Center Plains Cemetery, Cotton Center, TX, under the direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center.

Ms. Mann died Monday, November 25, 2002 in Plainview, TX.

She was born on December 29, 1916 in Nevada County, Ark.

She married J. L. Mann on December 15, 1934 in Plainview, TX and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1988. She had moved to Hale Center in 1933, was a member of the First Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star and was a volunteer for the Hale County Farm and Ranch Museum.
