Maldonado, Eduardo

Funeral Mass for Eduardo Maldonado, 95, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Catholic Church in Kress with the Rev. Guadalupe Majorta officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Maldonado died at 7:09 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 12. 1907, in Gideo, Coahuilla, Mexico. He moved to Kress from Robstown in 1962 and was a farm laborer. He later moved to Plainview. He had also worked for William Water Well Drilling.

He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

He married Conception Felan. She died May 29, 1982.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Guerra of Plainview, Nena Cabrera of Kress and Bertha Garza of Hereford; four sons, Joe, Carlos and Pete Maldonado, all of Kress, and Oscar Maldonado of Hereford; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Hortencia Vuittonett, died March 22, 1997.
