Obituary

Francisco Luera, 87, of Plainview passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, in Plainview.
He was born on Nov. 10, 1926, in Goliad County, Texas, to Jesus Luera and Damiana Gutierrez.
A rosary and memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Bartley Memorial Chapel. He is survived by one daughter, Bertha Soliz; one brother, Valentin Luera; nine grandchildren, Brenda Martinez and husband Adrian, Ben Soliz and wife Angie, Santana Soliz and wife Amy, Christina Martinez and husband Jeff, Teresa Martinez and husband Joe, Pancho Soliz, Veronica Soliz, Monica Soliz and Dolores Soliz, and 13 great-grandchildren.
