Funeral services for Leo Luedtke, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Wood-Dunning Colonial Chapel with Johnny McDonald and Jerry Bevill of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Luedtke died at 8:29 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2003, in Plainview Healthcare Center.

He was born Feb. 13, 1912, in Vernon and moved to Plainview in 1941. He served in the U.S. Army Air corps during World War II as a mechanic on gliders at a base in Lubbock. He retired as service manager for Bratcher-DePauw Motor Co.

He was a member of Ninth and Columbia Church of Christ.

On Jan. 14, 1933, he married Ethel May Miller in Frederick, Okla. She died Sept. 2, 1998.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marti Luedtke of Navasota; three grandchildren, William Luedtke of New York, Max Luedtke of Florida and Sharon Perry of Houston; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and his caregiver, Lorene Cole of Plainview.

A son, Max Luedtke, died in July of 2002.
