Obituary

Ruby Love, 81, of Panhandle, formerly of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, in Amarillo. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Open visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 9, at the funeral home. Ruby Louise Love was born Jan. 25, 1931, in Merchinson, to William and Louise (Gunnels) Burch. Ruby and Alvie Love were married Feb. 28, 1959. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Ruby is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Alvie Love of Panhandle; her daughter, Judy Segura of Panhandle; her three grandchildren, Shanna Segura, Rick Segura and Kenny Segura; and her brother, Gerald Burch of Whitney, Texas.
