Memorial services for Carlota Lopez, 70, of Plainview will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Lopez died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born Oct. 24, 1939, in Hebronville to Diego and Beatrice Huerta. Survivors include five sons, Diego Gonzales, Joe Gonzales and Ray Gonzales, all of Hobbs, N.M., Billy Gonzales of Plainview and Saul Lopez Jr. of Odessa; three daughters, Syndee Martinez of Odessa, Maria Cleo Fike of Hobbs and Rosa Burciaga of Plainview; one sister, Julie Perez of Anson; and 25 grandchildren.
