Obituary

Pete C. Lopez Sr., 70, of Plainview, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, in Plainview. Memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Arsenio Redulla officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Lopez was born Sept. 1, 1942, to Rafael and Celia Lopez in Anson. He married Ermalinda Rios on May 18, 1967, in Plainview. She preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 2008. He owned and operated Pete's Upholstery and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He is survived by three sons, Leroy Lopez and wife Aurora of Slaton, Pete Lopez Jr. and wife Anna of Plainview and David Lopez and wife Val of Plainview; and 10 grandchildren.
