Obituary

Friedrich H. (Fritz) Lindemann was born February 10, 1868, in Hanover, Germany, the son of H. Willhelm and Clara Lindemann. Friedrich had two brothers, Herman and Willhelm. The family came to America when Friedrich was seven years old, landing at Galveston, Texas. On January 24, 1895, Freidrich married Alwine Hueske in McGregor, Texas. He acquired the name "Fritz", short for Friedrich and Alwine was pronounced Alvina in English. In 1906, Fritz and Alvina, along with their children moved to the Providence area northeast of Plainview, Texas, where they lived the remainder of their lives.
