Lindeman, A.W., Mrs. (Karen Brown)
Karen Brown Lindeman passed away on Saturday April 20, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Lockney, TX with Mr. Nathan Mulder and Mr. Jonathan Sullivan officiating.
Karen was born on April 14, 1943 in Lockney Texas, the only child of Arthur and Mary Nell Calahan Brown. She graduated from Lockney High School in 1961 and remained lifelong friends with many of her classmates. In addition, she attended Texas Tech University and cosmetology school. After she completed her education she married and became a wife, homemaker, and mother to Christopher Thomas Cooper and Cynthia Ka Cooper. She married AW Lindeman February 24, 1990 in Lubbock, TX. They made their home in the Claytonville Community and recently moved to Plainview, TX. She owned and operated Homemade Etc. and has a booth at Unique & Antiques Mall. Karen had a passion for going to auction's, garage sales and flea markets searching for her latest treasures. She also loved decorating and keeping an immaculate home.
She is survived by her husband AW Lindeman, her son Chris Cooper of Lubbock, TX and her daughter Cindy and husband David Holahan of Plainview, TX. Two grandsons Dustin Stanford and Calahan Stanford of Plainview, TX.
