Lilley, John B., Mrs. (Vaudine (Shorty))

HART - Vaudine "Shorty" Lilley, 78, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, in Tulia.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home Chapel in Dimmitt with the Rev. Marvin "Happy" Toler officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.

Vaudine was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Seymour to W.C. and Lily Herndon. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of First Baptist Church in Hart.

Survivors include a son, Brent Lilley of Nazareth; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Lilley; a son, Gary Lilley; grandson, Keean Lilley, as well as ten siblings.
