Obituary

Funeral services for John Lilley, 78 will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Toler of Stephenville officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Lilley died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Plains Memorial Hospital in Dimmitt. He was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Hart and attended school in Olton. He married Vaudine Herndon in Farwell on Oct. 29, 1945. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary Lilley of Hart and Brent Lilley of Nazareth; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A sister, Lydia Maye Coleman, is deceased.
