Lewis, Harvie, Mrs. (Inous Bell)

Abernathy ? Funeral services for Inous Bell Lewis, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. W.R. Bolton, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lewis died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside.

She was born March 31, 1920, in Henderson. She moved from Tatum to Abernathy in 1949. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, serving as treasure of the choir and missions.

On Dec. 24, 1939, she married Harvie Lewis in Tatum. He died June 4, 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Daisey Pouges of Milan, N.M., and Emma Carlton of Dallas; a sister, Artavia Bradley of Abernathy; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

A son, Harvie Lewis, died Sept. 22, 1998.
