Obituary

Funeral services for Faye Bloxom Lewis, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Charles Teykl, pastor officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Miss Lewis died at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday in Central Plains Regional Hospital. She was born April 20, 1904, in Nolan. Her mother died and she was raised by the late John Thomas and Annie Jane Bloxom. They moved to a farm south of Lockney in 1925 from Nolan and to Plainview in 1942. She was self-employed and did ironing and washing for the public before retiring. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a brother, Albert Ray Bloxom of Anderson, MO; a siser, Annie May Jurcak of Plainview; a stepsister, Betty Jo Ensminger of Sweetwater; 11 nieces and nine nephews. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
