Obituary

Memorial services for Hubert J. "Bud" Leslie, 74, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bartley Memorial Chapel with Dr. Max Browning, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Mr. Leslie died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Bailey to Hubert B. and Marion Maxwell Leslie. He married Ann Limmer on Feb. 5, 2000, in Plainview. Mr. Leslie moved to Plainview 10 years ago from Vernon. A 30-year resident of Vernon, he had formerly lived in Houston. In Vernon and Plainview, he was owner of Agriculture Financial Consultants and retired as an FHA zone manager. Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Cheryl Leslie of Aledo; two daughters, Cindy Leslie of Abilene and Gail Sutera of Houston; one brother, Sid Leslie of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Nancy Raschke of Houston; and four grandchildren.
