LeMond, Al H., Mrs. (Ina F. Monroe)

Graveside services for Ina LeMond, 94, of Alamogordo, N.M., former Hale Center resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hale Center Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Cameron, pastor of hale Center First United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial arrangements are by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. LeMond died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, in Alamogordo, N.M.

She was born Jan. 23, 1909, in Elida, N.M., the daughter of the late J.L. and Fanny Monroe. She had lived in Hale Center for more than 60 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

In 1938, she married Al LeMond. He died in 1968.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Bill and Sallie Jo Scott of Alamogordo, N.M.; a granddaughter, Susan Rogers; a grandson, Will Scott; and three great-grandchildren.

Five sisters, Mae Smithee, Amy Kemp, Oma Roney, Dot Pollard and Jo Nicholson; and a brother J.L. Monroe, and her husband?s parents, Walter and Sallie LeMond, are deceased.
