Frances "Tinker" Lemoine, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Private interment will follow. Funeral service arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Frances was born Sept. 3, 1931 in Brownfield, Texas, to Thomas Earl and Fannie A. (Roberts) Traylor. She married Joseph Lemoine in July 1947. They moved to Plainview in 1970 and they were married for 57 years until his passing in February 2005. Frances was a loving, creative and happy person. She worked for 23 years as a custodian at Lakeside School in Plainview. She loved being around the school kids and felt as if they were all her own. Frances also enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting. She was a member of Kress Church of Christ for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; a grandson, Curtis; two brothers; and three sisters. Frances is survived by two daughters, Sharon Watson of Tulia and Vicki Bradshaw and husband Arlan of Lubbock; one son, Jimmy Lee Lemoine and wife Judy of Centerville, Tennessee; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and one sister Wanda Morris and husband Fred of Two Buttes, Colorado.
