Obituary

Mack Wayne Lees, 42, passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Calvary Baptist Church with Mark Weiss officiating, assisted by Jim Ritter. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Lees was born on Sept. 17, 1965, in Plainview, Texas. He grew up in Plainview and worked at the water treatment plant at Mackenzie Lake. He was an electrician in Lubbock. Mr. Lees loved to cook, go fishing and spend Sunday afternoons with his kids playing the guitar. His memory will forever be in our hearts. He is survived by two daughters, Amber Rose Lees of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Addie Faye Lees of Monticello, Ark.; two sons, Mack Dillon Lees of Plainview and Jess Cole Lees of Lubbock; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Bruce Garrett of Plainview; and two sisters, Danna Garcia of Lubbock and Rhonda Marshall and husband, Kent, of Plainview. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Allen Lees, and a brother, Dale Lees. The family suggests memorials to Seth Ward Baptist Youth or Calvary Baptist Youth.
