Obituary

Graveside services for Vera Mae Lee, 96, of Hale Center will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hale Center Cemetery with Silas Short officiating. Family visitation will be from 9-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Abell Funeral Home in Hale Center. Mrs. Lee died Saturday, Oct. 17, 2009, at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview. She was born March 30, 1913, in Nocona. She married Warner Marion Lee on Dec. 11, 1937, in O'Donnell. He died March 21, 1987. She was a member of Hale Center Church of Christ and lived in Hale Center since 1939. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Barbara Lee of Plainview and Gordon and Paula Lee of Grapevine; one sister, Norma Davis of San Angelo; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
