Lee, T.J., Mrs. (Carrie Opal McNutt)

Funeral services for Opal Lee,89, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hale Center Church of Christ with Silas short of Post officiating.

Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lee died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at Hale County Nursing Center in Hale Center.

She was born March 1, 1913, In Mineola, Ark. And married T.J, Lee on Feb. 17, 1936, in Mena, Ark. He died June 29, 1992.

Mrs. Lee moved to Hale Center from Whitney in 1978. She was a member of the Hale Center Senior Citizens Association and the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Vera Lee of Hale Center, Inez Jefferson of Tyler and Flora McNutt of California; a caregiver and friend, Maggie Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews.
