Obituary

Funeral services for Beverly DesJarlais Lee, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glen Godsey officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Lee died Wednesday, March, 8, 2006, at her residence. She was born April 14, 1937, in Oconto, Wis., to Felix and Cecile Brandel DesJarlais. She moved to Plainview in 1952 and had been a longtime member of Parkview Baptist Church. She also was a member of #327 Tops Club and later a member of #16 Tops. Survivors include four sons and one daughter-in-law, David Lee Gomez, Robert Lee Gomez, Marty Richard and Stella Gomez, and Kenneth Felix Gomez, all of Plainview; one daughter, Linda Gomez of Plainview; two sisters, Marion Mineau of Seymour, Wis., and Arlene Ziefert of Coleman, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her parents; daughter Debra Lynn; son Frank Jr.; brothers Clarence, Ronald, Calvin Lee and Harold; and sisters Melba Mae, Shirley Ann, Carol Jean, Donna Rae and Patricia are deceased.
