ABERNATHY ? Funeral services for Leo H. Lebow, 74, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Lowrie, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.
Mr. Lebow died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, in Lubbock.
He was born May 30, 1928, in Happy. He moved to Abernathy in July 1932. He worked as produce manager at Pay-N-Save.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1142, Ex-Student?s Association, American Legion and First Baptist Church.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1950-52 during the Korean War.
On Dec. 25, 1978, he married Annie Ruth Hemphill in Abernathy.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James McNeill of Austin; a daughter, Carolyn Kastor of Victoria; two brothers, Curtis Lebow of San Angelo and Cleatus Lebow of Memphis, Texas; five sisters, Ruby Deavers of Snyder, Daisy Boykin of Shallowater, Tressie Snider of Lubbock, Ramona Barchers of Hobbs, N.M., and Oleta Buzbee of Redmond, Ore.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church or to the Abernathy Cemetery Association.
