Obituary
Paul W. Leach, 75, of Plainview passed away Friday, June 15, 2007, at Prairie House Living Center after complications from a stroke. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2007, at First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Leach was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Plainview to John Shelby and Osa Mae Leach. He graduated from Plainview High School and Texas Tech University. He married Ralene Dunn on Dec. 27, 1951, in Dallas. Mr. Leach farmed in Plainview for several years. He was a longtime banker in Plainview and worked for City National Bank and retired from Wells Fargo Bank in 1989. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was a member of the Formby Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Rotary Club and attended Wednesday Men's Prayer Breakfast. He is survived by his wife, Ralene Leach of Plainview; two daughters, Ramona Kay Leach of Dallas and Rebecca Leach Estes of Lubbock; one brother, Joe and Wanda Leach of Plainview; two grandchildren, Tanner Paul Estes and Jessica Estes, both of Lubbock; one nephew, Mark Leach and family; and one niece, Marla Maresca and family. Memorials may be made to Kenya Project or Exodus Prison Ministry, c/o First Baptist Church, 205 W. Eighth St., Plainview, TX 79072.
